bah. I loved this one so much. my new found love for vine charcoal.
This is a piece we did in class over a period of three days. I hate the paper I was using....me and just about everyone else in the class. About halfway through the assignment we all noticed the dots forming on the page....crummy paper. Our teacher set up an entire still life set with about...six/seven pieces. we could choose three or more and draw them out. Well I saw the skull, the raven and I immediately thought "Poe!" so I started off drawing the skull. Teacher came by....said my skull looked too "Harley Davidson" then he took his hand. and smeared it off. took my blasted piece of charcoal and started drawing over it. making it WORSE. I was seething by the time I shooed him away. grrrr..... Anywho. Edit- had to add a boarder |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
